In December, Kerrie Donahue and the eighth grade team met with our children to think about their legacy and how graduating with Mr. Wales puts them in a special place in the school’s history. This month, the Board will be announcing the establishment of the Ralph Wales Legacy Fund to support continued economic diversity at Gordon School.
To honor this place in the school’s timeline and also acknowledge our group of eighth grade students, we propose establishing a fund that would mirror that intention. In order to establish a permanent, named fund at Gordon School, we have to raise a minimum of $25,000. We need support from all families in order to reach the goal. We also ask that this gift not replace your support of the Gordon Fund which is critical to the daily operation of the school. Your participation in both these efforts is greatly appreciated.
Gordon has given our children so much. Let us ensure that they have a lasting impact on the school through this collective effort to support the school. If you have questions about this fund or need more information, please contact Development Director Kerrie Donahue at firstname.lastname@example.org
or one of the other Co-Chairs of this effort, Gretchen DeMone and Michael Sullivan, Kitty Douglas and Mark Sargent, Lise and Jacques Faulise, Amanda and Quentin McMullen, Meredith Pearson and Geoffrey Kirkman, and Valarie and Todd Wallace.
